If you've never tried pilates, this is the best way to start - in a beautiful and safe space with an instructor that is so knowledgeable about anatomy. The studio has all the equipment you could ask for - even a beautiful cadillac! When you leave your session, the work doesn't stop there. Julie will give you personalized exercises to do at home.

Progress since starting Pilates in August 2022 as of February 2025
No more plantar fasciitis
Almost no cramping in right thigh/groin
Almost no baker's cyst issues behind the right knee
Significantly reduced arthritis symptoms in the left knee
Increased and increasing leg strength
Continued successful rehabbing of meniscus tears
Increased and increasing hip mobility, strength, and balance
No flare-up of back pain as exercise has increased
Some improvements in upper body strength

I have mobility problems for over a year. Tried water exercises and PT with my health plan provider. It did not work. My neighbor who has similar issues has been going to Julie for a few months and experience big improvements in his gait and flexibility. I started seeing Julie for two months now and what a difference it makes. Her rehabilitation program is person-based, gears toward my needs verses one plan fits all. I feel so much more confident in my walking and my flexibility is much more prevalent. I am looking forward to be able to walk with my dog without a cane soon.

Highly recommend! Pilates for injury and rehabilitation! Julie focuses on teaching and helping clients who are experiencing challenges in their health. She has helped me greatly with my chronic lower back pain and leg problems since last year. She is very knowledgeable about the human body and mechanics and formulates well thought out variety customized sessions for me based on my needs. No same boring moves every session. Her Pilates sessions are encouraging and challenging. She is very dedicated and caring and because of her, I am recovering nicely from my injuries and getting stronger. She accepts every person at their current physical state and guides them to work towards their goals in an approach that is long lasting. She always asks how you're feeling each session and listens to your needs.
