Most people leave physical therapy with a list of exercises and a discharge note but you might feel a gap between clinical rehabilitation and physical exercise. Your body may have healed enough to be discharged but not enough to feel like yourself again. Not enough to move without fear or hesitation.
MVNT Studio was built for exactly that moment. We work at the intersection of rehabilitative exercise, Pilates methodology, and restorative yoga. Our space is designed for complete privacy, unhurried attention, and the kind of progress that only happens when someone is truly heard and seen.

MVNT picks up where PT leaves off. We work directly with your discharge notes, your past history, and your body as it is each and every day.

Chronic pain changes how you inhabit your body. Over time, you learn to avoid, compensate, and accommodate until the original problem is buried under layers of protective tension and movement habit.
We don't just treat the pain site. We look at the whole system: how you move, where you guard, what your nervous system has learned to fear and we work patiently to change it.

Ongoing care, built around you.
Private sessions are individualized movement lessons that adapt week to week. Each session builds on previous work while responding to how your body feels. Accounting for pain levels, recovery, stress, sleep, and life changes.
Rather than following a fixed program, sessions evolve to support pain reduction, confidence in movement, and greater ease in daily life.

Clients of all backgrounds can benefit from rehabilitation focused pilates that allows the body to return to a more balanced strength and condition to better live life.

Sports Injury & Performance
Assisting clients with improving their mobility, strength and flexibility in intricate ways to improve their sports outcomes. Challenging the major muscle groups with dynamic and specific movements to gain awareness in smaller muscles.

Trauma Informed
Our solo studio space allows you the opportunity to feel within your body again. Giving you the choices to say yes, no, and modify movements that may be triggering. We support returning to your body in a safe space without the overly corrective hands on nature when requested.

Pre/Postnatal
We provide assistance for experienced pilates clients with their pregnancy, aches and pains. Taking in their past medical history and continuing their support into postpartum months during hormonal shifts.

Hysterectomy
Providing a support for clients that may need modified and specific needs that supports the lower body post surgical procedures while staying in a intimate setting to allow for clients to experience all the forms they need to while healing.

Restorative
Sessions that may be done once a week or during our yoga restorative classes. These assist clients to learn to relax and ease into a more meditative state between awake and aware while staying in long held poses to deepen awareness and muscle lengthening.

Yoga
Deepen your awareness by finding your self with our focused, beginner friendly and alignment focused sessions. Allowing you to find improved breathing, building body awareness and self awareness.

Going above and beyond to helping our clients through their family and work needs. These are custom programing to fit short bursts of focused exercises towards your needs.
