A change to your breathing pattern helps. Although many exercise routines have a similar breathing pattern there are specific ones that reduce the tension in the neck, shoulders, jaw and lower back! These include diaphragmatic breathing, 360 breathing, and lateral breathing. Depending on the person one or all of these may be beneficial to overcoming strain in your day to day life. It is also the first sign of a chronic pattern happening and is ideal to address before it becomes overly stiff.
